Thanks to the board and all the volunteers for another great banquet. not a bad turnout but surely could have been better. The members that didn't make it were missed and look forward to seeing them next year.

Obviously there's a lot of people involved in pulling something like this off. I couldn't possibly name them all so a collective "thank you" goes out to each and everyone that attended, donated or worked in anyway.

Numbers were down and the revenue generated will suffer accordingly, but overall I was satisfied with our efforts. Good seminars, good donations, good meal and good keynote. Most vendors we've had in a while too. Always room for improvement however and we'll see what we can do to make next year's banquet better. One thing is for sure, we need more member participation both in addendance and in donations.

Thanks all.

Jerry

I thought the turn out was great considering the changes we've made, there's no reason for things not to get better. As for donations I can't speak for everyone, but if others are in any similar situation as myself, I don't think you can connect it with the organization. It's this damn economy not to mention my wife and I have been paying 1500$+ per month out of pocket for the kids college and until things improve I will not be donating much of anything---no apologies--just the hard facts---looking at the age of our membership I'd say a lot of them are in my shoes. You guys who have young kids have a lot to look forward to Rolling Eyes

I really want to thank those guys that donated bows for our banquet too. We had several bows there this year and that was great. For those of you that were not there, Brad Jansen who is a newer member won the Shawn Peterson Bow Building Contest. I believe pics of his bow are somewhere on this site too. Anyway, nice job Brad and everyone else.

It was a great banquet indeed and some fine bows donated. It was really interesting to see some of the variations in design of donation bows and the craftsmanship of each and every one was outstanding. You've all put alot of work into the banquet!

I am always amazed at our memberships offerings to the banquet. The handcrafted beauties are works of art. To each and every person that attended and or donated thank you very much. To everyone that donated there time for this banquet a heart felt thank you. To The UBI Board and Regional Rep, thanks for all your hard work.

Jim Ellis, Banquet Chairman
